Sam Kahrar is a filmmaker and editor based in Ridgewood, NY. Her films have screened at San Diego Underground Film Festival, Yoni Film Fest, Filmfront, and Projections at The Nitehawk Cinema. She is a 2020 Karen Schmeer Diversity in the Edit Room Fellow.

Her forthcoming credits include an episode of a docu-series for National Geographic and a documentary about the life and downfall of the rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard of the Wu Tang Clan. Her previous editorial credits include Aftershock (Associate Editor), Sirens (Additional Editor), Sex Diaries (Additional Editor), and 15 Minutes of Shame (Associate Editor).
